Driveway & Concrete Cleaning
Concrete collects everything: tire marks, road salt residue, leaf tannin, algae in the shaded strip along the garage, and years of general graying. Cleaned properly, a driveway usually comes back several shades lighter and makes the entire front of the house read as maintained.
We clean with commercial surface cleaners rather than a wand, which is what produces an even finish instead of the striped arcs you see on a lot of driveways.

Pavers get a different approach
Pavers are cleaned at lower pressure than poured concrete so joint sand is not blown out and the paver faces are not scarred. Where sand needs replacing after cleaning, we will discuss it with you before the work rather than leaving joints open.
About stains
Organic staining — algae, moss, leaf tannin, mildew — typically comes out well. Oil, rust, paint and deep chemical staining are different. Some of it lightens considerably, some of it does not fully release, and we would rather tell you that up front than promise a result the surface will not give. Common questions
- Will cleaning damage my concrete?
- Properly done, no. Concrete in sound condition handles surface cleaning well. Spalling, flaking or badly deteriorated concrete is already failing, and we will point that out before cleaning it.
- Can you get out oil stains?
- Sometimes substantially, sometimes partially. Fresh oil responds better than years-old staining that has soaked deep into the slab. We are straightforward about what a specific stain is likely to do.
- Do you clean sidewalks and steps too?
- Yes. Walkways, steps, porches and the public walk in front of the house are usually included in the same visit and are what most people notice first.
